DG SET SCADA SYSTEM
A Diesel Generator is the combination of a diesel engine with an electrical generator (an alternator) to generate electrical energy. In industry DG is used in emergency condition when grid fails. In some case it is used parallel with grid to main certain limit of grid. Sizing of diesel generators is critical to avoid low-load or a shortage of power and is complicated by modern electronics, specifically non-linear loads.

Generally, Power demand of any industry does not remain always fixed. It varies as per machine load, machine speed, productivity etc. accordingly power requirement will increase. Generally, when we use power from grid we must specify our power demand to grid & this demand must not increase. If our demand increases grid may charge the penalty. So, it is suggestible to use specified power from grid & additional requirement we can fulfill by DG set. Load sharing between grid & DG and Grid synchronization can be achieved by PLC system.
